Description

Maxis is a company that develops and publishes computer and video games. It was founded in 1987 by Will Wright and Jeff Brown. The most famous Maxis games are the SimCity, The Sims and Spore series. Maxis has been owned by Electronic Arts Corporation since 1997 and is one of its studios. Maxis is also known for its creative approach to game design, which allows players to independently create and manage different simulations. Maxis has several offices in different countries including the USA, Malaysia, China and Japan
